It is really hard for me to watch Jamie Oliver’s show when he was in West Virginia not far from where I live!
I do agree with him that the school meals are not healthy at all. A french fry is a vegetable? Give me a break! It is not! I do know that some of the things in the show are exaggerated but I also know that some of it is true. We were at the store the other day and this little boy who was probably 2 almost 3 was 3 times bigger than my 5 yr old boy. My son looked at me and said look at that fat little boy. Now, my son has never said anything like that before. He was as shocked as I was over the size of the kid. The odd thing to me was to see what his dad had in their grocery cart. It was full of those chocolate milks that the schools pass out to the kids! I really don’t think that the chocolate milk is making the kids fat though. But that was just really strange to see that was all he was buying.
