FML.
Fuck my life.
So this happened tonight:

That was $140 (plus $20 tip) just to get the Jeep towed from where it broke down in SOMA to our garage in Cole Valley.
I’m sure it will be at least another $700 minimum to fix whyever it wouldn’t turn on.

Uuuugh. Need car to get to work. Need work to pay to fix car. Help, trapped in a Cartesian Circle of poverty and suck. FML.

That sucks, but on the bright side, isn’t the new job withing reasonable biking range?
I’m reminded of the song Handshakes by Metric. “Buy this car to drive to work, drive to work to pay for this car.”
Hope your jeep stops breaking down on you soon.
Aaarrrgghhh!!!
dude the car totally sucks.
In other news….Kym just emailed me this link:

Totally missing you and wishing that you could be in the city to participate in this grand adventure again with me. I need to convince another friend to do it with me or else it is not going to happen!
Courtney, I’m sooooo sorry! car problems suck. That was one towing bill (you are supposed to tip them???)
that seems to be life; just when you think you are getting ahead then something like this happens. hang in there. what about trading it in for something more reliable? not that anyone would want a car payment though
hugs to you
I hope you do something fun this weekend despite this unfortunate turn of events
betty
Oh no what a bummer! I hope for the best on the repair costs.
Sell Jeep. Buy late 90s civic with <150k miles. Profit.
Love the blog, btw, found it via TGR.
