glad Earl is going with you! too bad you couldn't sneak in Linus too for that extra moral support. Hopefully they'll have all the comforts of home to help make the experience not too uncomfortable. worst thing for me would be sitting in the chair for 3 hours without a bathroom break (I'm sure they'll schedule that in for you though) Earl is a keeper for sure for trying to keep you as healthy as he can :)

Oh girl! Your teeth are just as important as your eyes! I go every six months to the dentist. I didn't as a child. I didn't get my first cavity until I was 24 and it was a pin hole type that didn't need the needle. I got my second cavity and a real one at that about two years ago at the age of ??? lol But, I went yesterday morning for my routine cleaning and received some bad news! :( It seems that a tooth that they had been watching now seems to need a little work done to it! Yikes! I don't want to do it :( I wouldn't even make my appointment to get it done yet. But I will call back and schedule my appointment soon. Unfortunately, I have to work my appointments around kids in school and things.

Now, my mom wouldn't go to the dentist. So last year I had the pleasure of taking her to the denture dentist to have the remaining teeth pulled and dentures put in. That still makes me sick thinking about it! You definately don't want to go down that road!

Hope everything goes well at your appointment!

Hugs,
Angela

I find flossing in the morning to be an easier habit to keep.

Hope the dental appointment isn't traumatic.

Similar thing happened to me a few years ago. Sucks to be in that chair for all that time, and you're likely to see a bit of blood, but your mouth does feel nice and clean afterwards.

as far as flossing goes, I use the little bow on the end of a stick.. I can't do the traditional string floss thing.
