Well, if you insist on a reason, I returned from my run on this lovely San Francisco Saturday morning and found Earl still in bed being sleepy and cute. And, shouldn’t everyone that sleepy and cute be woken up with raspberry hazelnut pancakes? I concur.

Those pancakes look mighty good! I have never had raspberry pancakes before. I do love and treat myself to the Cracker Barrels pecan pancakes from time to time. Tip on trying to make pecan pancakes: Toast the pecans in the oven before you put them in the batter.
