I saw rainbows in Patagonia too! I am a great believer in the conjunction of playful work and serious play. I am full of envy on your Channel plans – I think I am honestly not a fast enough swimmer for it to be an appropriate thing for me to contemplate, but I’m definitely going to do as much distance swimming as I can in the next couple years…

I was formulating a comment that would do justice to your great prose in this post and the words escaped me as I moved from one of your magnificant photos to another.

Even a clumsy guy like me could find some glory and inspiration in running on the trails with the views that face you each time you set out.

P.S. I was running yesterday and met a woman who was running with a pair of corgis. She and the dogs seemed to be enjoying themselves.
